Project 6

For this project we had to make our own synth sounds in sytris and create a loop out of it. So, I started out by using a saw wave and editing it so that is sounded just right. I put a chorus on it, a delay on it, some reverb and the second lowpass filter. After I had the first synth sounding perfect, I ran it threw the riff machine so it could become the main part. Next, I added an FPC file that fit perfectly with the synth and the tune. I liked it because it sounded very up beat. The next part was a little more challenging. I had to create a second synth and have it fit with the first, but I thought the first synth and the drums sounded fine on their own. This time I used a sine wave. I changed the shape of the wave a little, added a low pass filter, a chorus, a lot of delay and reverb. As I added this to the loop, I noticed it kind of softened the loop, and I liked the sound. I transposed the second synth all through out the loop so it didn't get too boring. I ended it with the first synth just ending. It isn't my best piece but i still hope you like it!
